Permanent Supportive Housing Program (SHP)

CSVC received a HUD McKinney Vento Continuum of Care federal grant to serve seriously mentally ill, chronic substance abusers and chronically homeless in permanent supportive housing beginning in fiscal year 2008.  Sycamore Commons was developed to provide permanent housing for persons with disabilities, specifically, to the severely mentally ill, including those that are chronic substance abusers, and to the chronic homelessness also.  The four apartments are all in one building to serve individuals and provide private living space. This project assists homeless persons to access available mainstream services and benefit programs.

Elk Street Housing

This home consists of four separate apartments to provide permanent, safe, affordable housing for individuals recovering from severe mental illness.  These individuals will be able to live independently with community supports as needed.
