Postal Food Drive

Postal Drive

The Annual Postal Drive, Stamp Out Hunger, is a national effort to fight hunger.  This one day event is held the second Saturday in May and encourages our nation’s communities to set out bags of food for pick-up by their mailman and volunteers.

Locally, 18,103 pounds of donated food were sorted and distributed by over a hundred volunteers to five local food pantries during the 2015 Postal Drive.

Drop off sites in our community include:

Franklin Fire Department

Oil City Christ Episcopal Church – In 2015 the Postal Food Drive collected 8,050 pounds of food in Oil City.
